One of my favorite bars in Manhattan is Brass Monkey. This three level bar in the Meatpacking District is the perfect summer spot to drink and hang out with friends. My favorite spot was the rooftop because it has a beautiful view of the city and Hudson River. Although it’s crowded, the chairs and music playing gives it a chill vibe. This bar is walking distance from many other great nightlife spots (Biergarten at the Standard, Le Bain, and more) so it’s a good place to bar hop. I’d definitely recommend stopping by here if you’re planning a birthday in the city and want to get drinks.
