Health is about making a better choice. Simple choices can either make or your break your health journey so make sure to be conscious of how you’re using your body and what you’re putting in it. Consider asking yourself questions like: Is this the best food available to put into my body right now? Is this the most efficient way I can move my body? Is this the most productive way for me to be thinking? And if it’s not, make a better choice. Here are some simple choices you can make throughout the day that will improve your health:
Make a fruit and vegetable smoothie

Smoothies are a great way to get nutrients into your diet because they’re easy to make and taste so delicious. My go-to drinks are a berry banana smoothie and a green juice. If you don’t want to make it yourself you can always head over to the grocery store or a local juice bar to pick one up.
Swap your coffee for green tea

Once I limited the amount of coffee I had in my diet I was surprised to see how much better I felt. While coffee is delicious, the sugary milks and creamers that go into the coffee can leave you feeling sluggish. Green tea has wonderful health benefits such as improving brain function, preventing against type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease, and increasing fat burning.
Talk a walk
Spending time outside will improve your mood and reduce feelings of anxiety. I like taking a walk when I’m upset because being outdoors and moving my body helps me to concentrate on my feelings and work through them in a healthy manner.
Make your own health challenge
Sometimes it can be difficult to know when and how to move your body during the day. I like performing personal health challenges because it’s a fun, friendly competition with myself that makes exercising exciting. Challenges could include doing 20 squats every time to wash your hands or 10 jumping jacks every time you hear a certain word.
Take Vitamins

Vitamins are a super easy way to get daily nutrients. Most of us know we should be taking vitamins, but put off buying them. I take a probiotic, vitamin b, bitotin, zinc, and iron. Vitamins have helped me with digestion, PMS symptoms, and energy. If you aren’t taking any vitamins I definitely recommend taking vitamin d and a probiotic.
