3 Creative Activities To Do With Your Dad On Father’s Day

Father’s Day is right around the corner and thanks to the pandemic the usual brunch outing/extended family get together is out of the picture. Just because we’re living in a new normal doesn’t mean that Father’s Day 2020 can’t be one for the books. Here are some pandemic approved Father’s Day activities that your dad will love.

Plan a movie night

Everyone loves a good movie night. Either break out your dad’s favorite film or rent that new movie he’s been dying to watch. No movie night is complete without snacks so use this time to indulge in your favorite movie theater treats like popcorn, nachos, and chocolate. It’s perfect excuse for a cheat day!

Tip: If he’s into a particular genre, you can get decorations based on that theme to make it feel like more of like a party

Have a picnic

Picnics are one of those things that everyone admits they’d love to take part in but they never actually plan. Use this opportunity as time to enjoy the fresh outdoors while being creative and social distancing. This is a great way to spend time with your dad and create a special memory. Make sure to pack your favorite meal, a blanket to sit on, and a camera to capture the memory.

Going on a car ride is a chill, unique way to spend time with your loved ones. Put on your favorite playlist and spend time cruising around and telling stories. When you find a scenic spot you can hop out of the car and appreciate the view.
