Have you ever had a moment where you knew with absolute certainty that you desperately needed to get it together? Maybe it was a lightbulb moment where you realize that you’re the one getting in your way? If you’ve ever experienced something like this you’ve probably also had some sort of late night panic attack stemmed from the thought that you have absolutely no idea where or how to start sorting through the hot mess that is your life. Well, if you’re like me and are still trying to work through figuring out your passions while building up the courage to take the necessary steps to get there, you’ve probably noticed that the most successful people in ALL fields have variations of the same routine. It looks like there just might be a formula to success after all.
Become A Morning Person

I’m sure you cried a little on the inside after reading this first one. Yes, it’s true, you’re going to have to become a morning person. As painful as waking up early is when you start, it’s truly something magical when you get into the swing of things. Waking up early has helped me to be healthier, more focused, and has given me the necessary time to pursue my goals as well as time to figure out what those goals are.
Exercise
These days most people usually think about exercise in terms of looking better or achieving a certain body type. Exercise is so much more than just looking good. It has so much more to do with feeling good. If you want to be confident, levelheaded and focused, you need to exercise. Exercise in the morning will pump you up with energy and make you extremely motivated to tackle the day.
Be More Intentional With Your Time

A key part of getting it together is getting intentional with your time. This means that you don’t look back at your day and think “man, where has the time gone?” You account for your time and approve of what you do with it. Say goodbye to binge watching Netflix and scrolling through apps. Planners with daily schedules are a great tool to use if you want to become more intentional with your time. Writing done a specific daily schedule will keep you on task and focused throughout the day.
Learn Something New Everyday
If you want to get better at something or work towards a new goal, you’re going to have learn more about it. Whether you want to be an expert in a certain job/skill or you want to get your financial habits together so can move towards your financial goal, you’ll need to gain knowledge on a particular topic. Pick up a book, listen to a podcast, volunteer or talk to someone who knows more about this topic than you do, do whatever you can to gain the necessary knowledge you need to get you to where you want to go.
I totally agree with all your tips! Exercising and waking up earlier has helped me so much. I also try to schedule/plan my day the day before so I know what that I won’t just waste the whole day.
