Isn’t it crazy how we have all the information we need to improve our situations at the tip of our fingertips, but we end up spending our days distracted and wasting our precious time? These days most people go on the internet and watch other people work hard and achieve their dreams instead of doing it themselves. With social media there has become an increased level of anxiety and the pressure to be perfect. Most people will not even start a task if they aren’t sure they will succeed. On top of the fear and anxiety, many people are so distracted by media and consumed by their daily routines that they don’t take the time to actively chase their dreams. During quarantine I realized that I wasn’t actively going after any of my dreams. I had all these ideas about what I wanted for my life but I didn’t put any serious thought, effort, or planning into actually achieving what I want. Since then, I’ve made more of a conscious effort to get a planner, develop healthier habits, and become more focused and dedicated to my future. If you find yourself struggling to put in the work it takes to achieve your dreams, read these quotes for inspiration.
“Edit your life frequently and ruthlessly. It’s your masterpiece after all.”
“That dream was planted in your heart for a reason.”
“If not now, then when?”
“They can’t knock a woman of a pedestal she built herself.”
“Create your own opportunities.”
“Do your research and always learn. Your mind is the biggest asset you have for your future.”
“If you talk about it, it’s a dream. If you envision it, it’s possible. If you schedule it, it’s real.”
Lately I’ve lost some motivation to work hard and achieve my goals. When I’m feeling unmotivated these quotes help me to prioritize my tasks and stay on top of my game. You truly are your biggest asset and the best thing you can invest in is yourself. I hope that you all stay organized and focused this week. I want to stay focused on blogging, advancing in my career in marketing/ digital content creating, and achieve my health and fitness goals. What are you guys working hard at?
