The Weekend In Photos: Coffee, Anthropologie, Surprise Party

Hey guys! I hope everyone had an amazing, stress-free weekend. I had a nice weekend, I worked at Anthropologie for a couple hours on Saturday. I love working at Anthropologie because I have the best coworkers. All the women there truly inspire me and they’re all so cool in their own unique way. I found some amazing deals while working this Saturday. One of my the best perks of working at Anthro is the incredible deals that I find. I’m talking I got $700 worth of clothes for $70. I know, even I can’t believe it. It’s a pretty expensive store so when I’m able to find a good quality item for under $10 I give myself a big pat on the back. Because it’s summer, all the winter clothes that didn’t sell last season are on sale for super cheap. If you have an Anthro near you and you want to stock up on clothes or holiday gifts, I highly recommend going over and seeing what you can find on sale. I’ve gotten some really great deals from Anthropologie in the past couple of years. I’m thinking of making a post about it because honestly who doesn’t like hearing about a good deal?

Aside from my productive shopping day, I attended my friend’s surprise going away party. She’s moving from New Jersey to Boston in a couple weeks so her sister decided to throw her a party to celebrate this new chapter in her life. This was my first time attending a surprise party so that was really exciting. My sister and I took our friend out for coffee while her family prepared for the party. We went to this local coffee shop in Ramsey, NJ called L’Arte della Pasticceria. I had a delicious iced vanilla latte. I resisted eating a pastry, and trust me I had major discipline because they looked so fresh and fluffy.

Two hours later we headed over to her house and thankfully got there before she did, thanks to her sister sending her on a last minute errand. In the end she was totally surprised and had a great going away party. It was such a great day to sit outside and hang out with friends. Because of coronavirus I hadn’t done that nearly enough this summer. I was feeling kind of down this week about not being able to experience a typical summer. Normally I spend a lot of time in NYC during the summer so it’s weird for NYC to be a kind of off limits right now. I hope that we can get the coronavirus under control soon, I’d love to experience New York in the way that I used to without fear of getting sick.

I hope everyone is staying safe, healthy, and living life intentionally. What did you guys do this weekend?
