Raise your hand if you drink coffee in the morning. Now raise your hand if your morning cup of coffee is one of your favorite parts of the morning. There is just something about that morning coffee. When the first sip of that bitter, sweet coffee touches your lips it is like a spiritual experience. Suddenly your brain opens up and you can articulate your thoughts with reason and order again. When you are working and busy it becomes easy to rush your morning coffee to point that you do not even remember how it tastes once it is over. Some of my most peaceful, mindful moments are when I am drinking my morning coffee. I love waking up early, sitting alone, and sipping my coffee while staring out the window. There is something so simple and peaceful about drinking your favorite beverage while being alone with your thoughts. Mornings are are a crucial part of your day. If you rush your mornings and speed through them without any intentionally, you will not live an elevated life. Your morning cup of coffee does not have to be a quick chug, it has the potential to be the perfect time for you practice mindfulness and plan and prepare for your day. If you would like to elevate your morning coffee experience here is what you can do:
Invest In A Latte Machine
If you love lattes (and are spending big bucks on them on a daily basis) you may want to invest in a latte machine. Not only will you save money by skipping out on Starbucks, but you will also have the ability to create a coffee shop level experience on a daily basis. This will allow you to save time and money, as well as have a more peaceful morning in your home without encountering hectic situations such as long lines and half asleep people reversing in parking lots.
Even though drinking my coffee alone is one of my favorite experiences, I sadly do not remember the last time I sat and drank coffee without checking my phone, reading an email or writing a to-do list for the day. It’s great to be productive, but sometimes you need time to yourself so you can relax and get your thoughts organized. The morning is a great time to do this because it will set the tone for the rest of the day. You owe it to yourself to have a peaceful and centered start to your day. Take this time to be get in tune with your body and clear your head. Once you feel at peace, you can use the newfound clarity to organize your thoughts and prioritize your day.
I received the Mr. Coffee Café Barista as a birthday gift and I love it! It has an espresso, cappuccino, and latte setting. It makes delicious coffee, is easy to use, and makes a great gift. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a latte machine but does not want to spend hundreds of dollars. This machine comes with all the necessary features and makes a great cup of coffee.
