Self Care Saturday: A Week In Pins and Quotes For A New Season

It is officially Spring and it is starting to really feel like light and warmth is flooding the atmosphere. I am absolutely loving this warmer weather. When I was younger I didn’t care so much for warm weather. I mean, it was nice and all but I didn’t appreciate it like how I do now. Now I can feel myself wake up and feel more perky and energized as soon as the sun shines a little brighter and the weather gets a little warmer. The Spring season brings on a whole new Gabrielle. Suddenly I find myself waking up earlier and spending more time connecting with nature. I always thought I would forever be a NJ/NY girl, now I am thinking I may want to find a warmer place to plant my roots.

This Saturday I wanted to share a Aristotle quote I came across this week:

“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is not an act, but a habit.”

How many times have you told yourself you would commit to a healthier, more elevated way of living, only to find yourself in the exact same spot you were in before? I don’t know about you, but this has happened to me far too many times. Wanting it is not enough. Starting is not even enough. You need to follow through and form habits in order to receive the excellent results that you are hoping for. What habits can you form this season to bring you closer to wear you want to be?

If you like this post it would be amazing if you would like, share, and comment. I would love to connect with all of you!
