7 Self Love Mantras To Repeat To Yourself Everday

Couldn’t we all use a little more self love? As I have come to learn more about self love I have found that I don’t truly love myself in the way that I should. I believe that most of us don’t actually love ourselves in a pure way. Our ego leads us to believe that we care deeply about ourself, but in the end the “love” we tend to give ourselves is typically more egotistical and defense-based than it is pure. Here are a couple questions to ask yourself in regards to self love:

  • Do you often feel guilty?
  • On a scale of 1-10 how difficult is it for you to forgive yourself?
  • Do you believe that you deserve your dream life?
  • Do you believe that you deserve your dream spouse?
  • Do you stand up for yourself?
  • When was the last time you made yourself proud?

Self love is complex and goes far beyond answering those questions, however I believe it is a good place to start because the honest answers to those questions will help you to understand how much love and respect you truly have for yourself. Self love is a journey and is not something you can accomplish overnight. The society that we live in does not promote self love, instead it promotes insecurity and self-loathing. In an effort to neglect society’s programming, repeating mantras is a great way to remind yourself of your worthiness. Here are some self love mantras that you can repeat to yourself morning and night so that you can remind yourself of your greatness:

Over time, repeating these mantras will put you into a state of love and happiness. Keep your frequency high by only spending time with people and media that make you feel grateful to be you. Life is precious and there is no time to feel like you are anything other than the worthy, wonderful person that you are!
