Health and wellness is deeply individual. What works for one person may not at all work for another. If you typically feel stressed out, or would simply just like to add a bit more intentionality and pleasure to your day, you can make simple switches to your daily routine. These switches can add an element of health and wellness, and make you feel healthier and happier. Finding which wellness products work for you may be a bit of a trail and error process.
As much as I would love to be a minimalistic, I tend to be a bit of a product junkie. Here are a few of the wellness products that I have piqued my interest and that I have been using (almost) everyday.
Alright, I know you guys are going to be skeptical of this one, but let me explain. Yes, this is just water. And yes, I do understand that it seems ridiculous to buy a facial mist that is literally just water. BUT, here me out. One spray of this facial mist and you’ll start thinking this must be water from the fountain of youth, because it feels so good on your face. It comes out at a cool temperature and the nozzle gives out the perfect mist. It’s light, refreshing, and softens and hydrated the skin. Highly recommend.

Essential Oil Roller
I recently picked up this essential oil roller from a local holistic shop and I’m so glad that I did. This one has amethyst crystals and is lavender scented. The scent is very calming and having it come in as a roller makes it super easy to apply this to my skin throughout the day. I love rolling it onto my neck and wrists while I’m at my desk at work. The scent instantly centers me and makes me feel more calm and centered. Not only are the Amethyst crystals beautiful, but they also are said to have healing properties. Amethyst is known to relieve stress and strain, soothes irritability, balances mood swings, and release fear and anxiety. It is also said to activate spiritual awareness and open intuition.
Kombucha
I have been drinking Kombucha for a couple months now and I love the benefits of it.
Potential benefits of drinking kombucha
- Help boost metabolism
- Reduce inflammation
- Strengthen immune system
- Helps prevent cancer
After suffering from some stomach issues, I find that Kombucha helps with my digestion issues and greatly improves my gut health and bloating. I normally just drink water so I love that Kombucha adds some more fun flavors to my taste buds, without having to drink something sugary like soda or a cocktail.

Vital Proteins Collagen
A few years ago I started drinking collagen and sort of fell off for some reason. When I looked back at photos of myself from that time I noticed that my hair and skin was so much healthier, and even my nails were longer and stronger. That was pretty much all the motivation I needed to start taking collagen again. I got Vital Proteins Collagen from Target and have been adding 1-2 scoops to my green tea everyday. I could be crazy, but I think my hair may already be growing faster! I’m looking forward to using it for the next few months and see how it improves my skin and hair.

If you want to add some resistance to your everyday movements and tone your body, you will definitely want to purchase a pair of Bala bangles. I got these bangles from Anthropologie a few months ago and I love how comfortably they fit my wrists. I love securing them on throughout the day, as well as during my workouts. I like to do pilates and barre and those exercises typically recommend using smaller weights, normally 1 or 2 lbs. My lightest dumbbells are 5 lbs, so these 1 lb bangles have come in handy when completing pilates arm exercises. They come in a variety of colors, ranging from black to rainbow. Who doesn’t love aesthetic exercise equipment?
