We’ve all experienced boring days at home that reminds us of those summer days as a child when we would be bored for days on end, desperately begging our parents to take us somewhere exciting. Lately, most of us have experienced this feeling and this time mom and dad can’t bail us out of this pandemic. If you’re stuck at home and starting to (or have been for weeks already) going crazy, here’s some activities you can do at home that will keep you entertained and put you in a more positive mindset.
Practice Yoga
Yoga is a great spiritual, mental, and physical practice that will heal your body and mind. It’s the perfect way to start and end your day because it centers you and gets you focused while stretching out your body and strengthening your breathing.

Make a fancy cocktail
If you can’t make it to a bar, play bartender! I love making cocktails at home because it gives me an opportunity to be creative and try out a delicious drink. Make this activity extra fun by naming your cocktail!
Create a vision board
Now that the world has slowed down a bit, it’s the perfect time to focus on the direction of your life and what you would like to see happen. Vision boards are an amazing tool that are not only enjoyable to make, but also make keep you focused on your goals.

Reorganize your space
A little Feng shui goes a long way. If you’re going to be spending a lot of time at home, it’s more important than ever to be sure that your space is how you want it. Don’t underestimate the power of a positive, productive space. Take the time to rearrange your furniture, declutter spaces, and create balance in your home.

Cook something different
If you’re going to eat, you may as well make it tasty. Trying a new recipe is not only a delicious pastime, but it will also make you feel accomplished when you’re finished. You can even create a blog post about the dish you cooked up.
Do the thing you’ve been “too busy” to do
We all have that one thing we’ve promised ourselves we’d do if only we had the time. Well, now’s your time! Whether it’s cleaning out your closet, painting, taking a bath, or trying out a new exercise, this is the time to stop making excuses and start making improvements.
Although we’re living in unpredictable times, you always have to choice to decide what your perspective will be. You can either view this time as a burden or inconvenience or you can act as if you’ve chosen it and recognize the opportunities that it has given you. It’s not always easy to snap yourself out of a negative mindset, but it is worth it. You deserve to live a life that’s positive and free of stress and anxiety.
